Hey! Back again! I know this isn’t the kind of movie I would normally do an outfit for but I had to make a special exception. Moonrise Kingdom (directed by Wes Anderson)has now make my favorite movie list. It is a wonderfully whimsical and absolutely charming love story about two misfit kids that run away together set in the 1960’s. Not only was the plot wonderful but the costumes were fantastic! I loved Suzy Bishop’s outfits! I also know this Polyvore spread looks a little different from usual, but that is because I just originally mad this for myself (I’m working n my college wardrobe!) but then I decided I wanted to share it! I won’t do a normal piece by piece breakdown but I’ll highlight the key elements!
- The dress: Short, 60’s inspired, and a Peter Pan collar
- Knee socks
- Black and white Oxford shoes
- knit beret
- The coat: I couldn’t find one with a little cape like Suzy has in the movie but any pea or duffel coat would do!
